I didn’t think much when I took this photograph until later when I went through the batch of which it was part. I had to smile. It was certainly a surprise to see that head floating there with no body. I hope you enjoy it.

I took this photo last January 26 and have been waiting for an opportunity to use it, and so here it is. I hope you enjoy it. (For some reason, it doesn’t come up as sharp as it does on my computer. But you get the picture.) 🙂

I recently read a post about “looking up” with the camera to see what you can see. Well, I did, and this is what I saw. I hope you enjoy this week’s photo challenge.
All these shots were taken at sunset, facing north, east or south. While the “sunset effect” isn’t as noticeable as, say, when the leaves have turned fall colors, it is still there, just not as richly adorned.

Here are a few photos I took earlier this year while out looking for things to photograph. I hope you like them. Feel free to LIKE them. Hee. Hee.
Here’s a couple of shots of a creek a few miles away from my home. Don’t know why I took them—just playing around.

Here’s a shot of the same creek in the opposite direction. Notice the little dinosaur sticking its head up on the left, central portion of the photograph.

I’m a semi-fan of impressionistic art, depending on who the artist is, such as Money, I mean, Monet, Manet, Renoir, and so forth. Obviously, the impressionism here is in the reflection, not on the land . . . but I knew you knew that.
Personally, I think people went into impressionism because 1) they needed glasses and saw everything blurry and fuzzy; and/or 2) they couldn’t draw faces very well.
