Sea Shells by the Sea Shore (or back yard, as the case may be)   5 comments

I have this collection of sea shells I don’t know what to do with. So, this is the result. They are very beautiful, are they not? I have since added some more with even more beautiful shells. I still don’t know what to do with them. I’ll think of something.

  1. You’re doing it! Nice collection. I use mine is big bowls with candles and in my planters. These are very photogenic. 😉

  2. A suggestion: get a little closer and do some macro :), MJ

    • Thank you. While my little Canon PowerShot SX110 IS has a function called macro, it doesn’t allow me to get really close like a normal macro lens would do. I have to do the greater part of the macro-ing in my photo editing program. Of course, there’s the possibility I just haven’t learned how to use it correctly yet. It doesn’t even do raw format, but it’s still large enough I could probably come in a lot closer in that manner. I still have my eye on a Canon EOS SLR of some sort or another. Thanks for the suggestion. My next collection of shells will have a greater diversity.

  3. What a pretty collection of shells!

    • Thank you. I wish I could say I found them all myself. 🙂 The ones I personally don’t don’t look near so pretty. Thanks for dropping by.
