Silhouettes come in all shapes and sizes. A sunset is a perfect place for a silhouette. This one was taken from the steps of my back yard as a lark. Which one looks better to you? Or do they all look crappy? 🙂

i agree with Sandra. the horizon looks like it’s on fire 🙂
🙂 It does, kind of, does’t it? Thanks. 🙂
I agree with Sandra. These photos conjure up visions of the burning of Atlanta scene from Gone With The Wind. It is also the one used on the movie posters – the iconic photo with Clark Gable holding Scarlett in his arms – and the fire in the background
Very nice imagery. Thank you. 🙂
You are so welcome:)
Both are nice, but I like the open feel of the second one better. Like an opening through which you can go from the dark to the light.
Thank you, Marion. Nice “seeing”. 🙂
I like the second shot better as I can make out more of what’s behind your backyard. It’s a fiery-looking sky for sure. It must have been very nice to see the sky that evening.
Thank you Mabel. I appreciate your comments. They mean a lot to me.
A great splash of rich colour all along the horizon. A nice submission for the Silhouette Challenge.
The horizon seems to be on fire. Great shot.
Thank you. I hadn’t thought of it that way. I appreciate your thoughts and visit. 🙂
