Old Farm South of Gallatin, Missouri   2 comments

Here’s a beautiful old farmhouse and barn south of Gallatin, Missouri on State Hwy 13. It’s always sad to me to see these old parts of Americana disappear into the sunset, sometimes never to be seen again, which is why I have preserved so many of them in this blog and in my Barns! Barns! Barns! flickr photostream.

You’re welcome to visit my Barns! Barns! Barns! photostream in flickr where you can register for free and upload your own photos of old barns, farm houses and other farm-related items. There are currently 799 members and 7,086 photographs and growing. If you love barns, you’ll love this website!

  1. I don’t know whether it’s just me or if everyone
else encountering problems with your website. It appears as if some of the text in your
content are running off the screen. Can somebody else please comment
and let me know if this is happening to them as well?
This might be a problem with my web browser because I’ve had this happen before.

    Kudos

    • The lines don’t run off the screen in my Chrome browser. I just checked it out on Firefox and it was fine there also. Make sure you’re viewing at 100%. If you’re on a computer, you can find out by holding down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and moving the roller. This will display a little drop-down box near the URL showing what percent you are viewing at. Move the roller toward your body and the zoom will decrease, and moving the roller away from you will make the screen go larger. If you are viewing at 100% and the lines are still off the screen, then you might have to adjust your screen size maybe. If your screen size is set according to your computer’s default size, then I don’t know what else to suggest.

One thing I might consider though, is making the photos a bit smaller, as they are not fitting all on one screen. They may not fit on one screen anyway if I make them smaller, but they could be better.

Thanks for your comment and good luck.
